Open 24 Hours

Beneath nobby knees, stripey socks, and the formidable hit of a dozen cups of acidic coffee, lay the baddest 5-piece band ever to stalk the Earth. The flipside of their TV Party 45 EP (SST Records, 1982) proves it once and for all:

Always loved that shot. Minimum style, maximum rock power.

I’ve Got To Run and My Rules kick ass. So tight. I first listened to them when I bought the Seven Inches Of The World comp. I couldn’t believe that such good tracks were ”lost” in an EP with the hideous TV Party on the A side!

Anton: ha ha yes I agree “TV Party” doesn’t hold a candle to the intense power found on side 2 – though I prefer this TV take (w/ Emil on drums) to the Damaged LP version.
